At 35 and Alongside we have a world class location and are looking for someone who can join our team of world class hospitality professionals. Performing in a fast paced environment while up holding the company values and standards. We are now looking for a motivated and passionate individuals to join our team, we have both permanent and short term positions available. If you are considering joining us for the busy summer season you will need to be available to work through until April. We are a team that supports one another and enjoy getting the job done. We will be looking for individuals who both have extensive and entry level knowledge.

Ed joined the team in October of 2013 after visiting for the Bay Of Islands 'It Festival. He made the move up from Auckland where he had worked and managed in the industry for almost 13 years. From the beginning it was clear to see Ed's passion for hospitality and he moved into the position of General Manager early 2014. Ed enjoys the lifestyle on offer in the Bay and in his spare time enjoys a good game of golf and dining out. He is looking forward to the challenge of making 35 Degrees South one of the top establishments in Northland and aims to put our stamp on the New Zealand hospitality map.
Violet started working with us back in 2013 and was an immediate star in the team. She took up the role of Assistant F&B manager in December 2014 and we have literally watched her blossom! You might know Violet for her welcoming smile and gentle demeanour.
Hannah joined us on a Gateway workplace experience while still at school and we just haven't been able to get rid of her! She was born in Tauranga and moved to Kawakawa about 7 years ago.
Kate joined us in December 2014, she came all the way from Staffordshire, England. Her favourite item on our menu is the Chicken Breast! If she's not meeting you at the door you'll find her at the beach reading a book! She hasn't traveled much of New Zealand yet but thinks Paihia will be pretty hard to beat, especially when you can see dolphins swim past your workplace!!
Sales Team
Storm is from right here in the Bay of Islands and has lived here on and off for the last 10 years. She has two favourite places in the world, one is Urupukapuka island the other is Pellworm a tiny island off the coast of Germany where her grandfather lived for many years. She spends her time off out on the water either swimming or sailing. Her favourite dish on our menu is Alongside's snapper sliders.
