JB Rhythm Movement featuring Taylah Barker.
This local band is led by the hugely talented Julian Brady – their music will take you on a journey from the 70s to date and through the genres – all the way from jazz, blues, and soul to rock. The band consists of very talented and experienced local musicians, ranging from the established band members Julian Brady (lead guitar) “Brett the Bass”, and Phil on drums, to the younger talents of Ewan, (bass & rhythm guitar) and lead vocalist Taylah Barker. A great mixture which brings together experience and the vibrancy of youth.
Otium
Whangarei band Otium, who have been creating a bit of a stir on the Northland music scene, also join us to help see out 2016 & bring in 2017. Otium is a five piece band with an upbeat reggae sound who produce a fusion of genres that includes classic rock, dark reggae, psychedelic, and pop. With influences from INXS, Fleetwood mack, Sticky Fingers, and Fat Freddy’s Drop, Otium has created a unique sound that is easy to listen to. The band consists of, Jesse Samu (vocals & guitar), Joe Captein (keys), Austyn Mills (Guitar & vocals), Toban Taylor (Bass & vocals) and James Ross (Drums). The Whangarei based group has played at the Ocean Beats festival, 
house parties and the local pubs, all welcomed by a dancing crowd.
Food will be available for purchase all night as well our full bar service.
No seating is guaranteed - it will be on a first come first served basis. We advise that you dress appropriately for the weather as we are a primarily outdoor venue.
Please note that ID will be required for the venue and under 18's will receive a special wristband. Please ensure that everyone in your group brings ID as alcohol will not be served to groups without this.
